100 Garden & Floral Oil Paintings, Original Artwork by Pam Holnback, 54/100

Bird of Paradise #1
6" x 6" Oil on panel
$100 + $10. s/h

We spent Thanksgiving in San Diego with my husband's sister.  These birds of paradise were blooming profusely everywhere!  We do not have tropical plants like this in Colorado.  These are such comical, space-like, almost geometric bird plants.  I would go for walks just looking at them.  I'm sure that if you live in Southern California, and other places where these grow, that you might not be as thrilled with them as I was.  I guess it's like people coming to Colorado and exclaiming over all the yucca when it blooms in June.

Very exotic looking flowers, when I lived in Spain they thrived there too.
