Carrillo Beach

Carrillo Beach, Costa Rica
6" x 8" Oil
$100.00 + $10. s/h

The beaches in Costa Rica were beautiful!  We stayed for several days in Samara. Carrillo Beach was just a few minute drive south and much less crowded.  In fact, there was hardly anyone there at all!

What a great spot to paint!  I also swam, went for a long walk, and read!

This beach is on the Pacific side of Costa Rica.  I was so surprised that the water was warm!  I expected it to be cool like the water on the Pacific side of Mexico.

Karen, Thank you. We should all be able to paint in heaven at least once in our lives!

Thank you Kim. Luckily, the movement and lines of the background trees, water, and palm tree trunks all moved almost back and forth so the motion keeps circulating.

Kathy, Thank you. The greens there were amazing!

Thanks David! I hope you get there someday!

Julie, Thank you!

Thank you Barbara! It was wonderful!

Peaceful painting. It was cool to see your easel on the beach, it made me remember the easel on the back of the boat in Alaska. What a great life you create.
