Alaskan plein air #2
6" x 8" oil on panel on board
$100.00 + $10. s/h

For this piece I'm pretty much standing in the same spot on the stern of the boat.  I think that I painted these last two pieces between about 5:30 and 7:30.  It was a quiet first evening.  People were resting or out on the beaches exploring (no, not like warm sun-tan beaches!)

Here's a close up of an Alaskan beach: mollusky, slippery, rocky.  Maybe I shouldn't call this
 a beach, but a shoreline.
Here's another beach, way easier for walking.  I took my "ExtraTuf"  boots to get in and
out of the skiff.

Beautiful! Love the way you painted the last ray of light on the left side of the water.

Kathy, Thank you. Light on water is constantly moving, in this case, to the left! Just have to make sure not to chase it.

Thank you Cathyann. I'll get ahold of you. I'll keep posting my plein air pieces from the trip.

Natalie, Thank you. It's fun to share the photos as well.

Kimberly, Thanks so much.
