Oil Painting Journal
Love the colors and the glowing effect of the light. Always inspirational!
You're so lucky to have that kind of inspiration! I admire your artwork.
Really like the way the underpainting shows thru for the light effect! I'm enjoying your garden/flower paintings too - love the colors!
You are so fortunate to have that experience, Pam! I love the 'twilight' colors in this - it's a wonderful painting.
Nice gesture..
I love the almost impressionistic feel to these latest pieces, Pam. So pretty and what a gorgeous grouping they would be together!
Wonderful pinks...especially when you add it to the Buffalo! Love it.
Debbi, thank you! At this altitude, we have so much light!Thank you Samantha! I love the west and the out of doors and both lend themselves to painting.Lori, Thanks so much. I'm almost done w/ the garden series. And, often w/ quick little dailies the toned color peeks through.Thank you Claire, This herd used to be right near our mountain property. They've recently been sold and moved, much to my chagrin.Thank you so much Marian!Con, Thank you. Maybe some one will purchase them all for a grouping!Thank you Hilda, The earth is full of pinks and sand tones.
Love the subject matter. Only one question . . . did you paint from real life?
You are really producing the bovine paintings. Bison are such impressive looking animals. I love to sculpt and paint them. Great job.
magnificent creatures! .....You've done them justice
Thank you so much Deborah. Have to say that this one was from a photo.Douglas, Thank you so much. I, too, love these guys! You could put some photos of your sculptures on your blog.Thank you Celeste. There used to be a nearby herd.. It seems to have been sold.
I love the way you captured the buffalo and kept them so impressionistic. Really beautiful.
