Bison On The Plains

Bison On The Plains

I've painted this herd many times.  I love it when they happen to be near the fence when we're driving by.  There will always be several cars pulled over watching, photographing, just enjoying the majesty of the animals.

So beautiful, Pam. This is a scene I see in my mind's eye everytime we are driving through great expanses of fields and stands of trees.

You did a fabulous job on the bison. We have seen bison in Yellowstone and you really captured the enormity of these huge creatures. Great job!

Hilda, thank you! I think that anyone who gets to see them is lucky!!

Thanks so much Douglas. Don't you love those days when the color is just right!

Sherry, Thanks so much. It must have been amazing when the earth appeared dark w. the 1000s of buffalo.

Thank you Kathy for your thoughts. I never tire of seeing or painting them!
