Kaanapali Waves, Maui, Hawaii --And, Some Fun News

Kaanapali Waves, Maui, Hawaii
6" x 6"  Oil
$100.00 + $10. s/h

I was constantly mesmerized by the changing abstract shapes on the beach that were created by the waves as they continually rolled in and out.  I wondered if I could capture that on canvas, so turned my easel around and painted away.  This, too, might make a fun series.

I'm excited that I am going to be one of the guests on this weeks Artists Helping Artists on Blog Talk Radio.  Leslie Saeta is doing this week's show on "Starting Your Art Career After The Kids Are Grown".  That's me!  Hope you will be able to catch the show, either live or after the broadcast.  Here's the link:  http://www.blogtalkradio.com/artistshelpingartists/2012/03/08/starting-your-art-career-when-the-kids-are-grown

I am reminded of pixelated photos. What a lovely abstract piece this would make for just the right living room!

Sherry, Thank you. This is a bit different from my normal work, but that made it so much fun to paint!
