San Juan Shadow

San Juan Shadow

I loved all of the brightly colored buildings in Old San Juan!  I looked at this shadow all through breakfast and it inspired a painting that was fun to create!

Shadows are so intriguing ... I remember even as a child looking at some beautiful shadows creative by the sun shining on some flowers and their shadows landing on the side of a stucco building ... I've always loved shadows. Yours are beautiful !

Great job on the shadows, Pam, and the colors are delicious! I kind of want to see the whole building now because of how you've handled those railings.

This is beautiful, Pam. I love the angle you chose to paint and you captured the transparency of the shadows so well.

Beautiful! The time you spent looking during breakfast really translated into seeing when you painted. I need to remember this point.

Very San Juan! I have a wall plaque by a local San Juan artist of one of the buildings in the old town. Your painting so captures the feel of the city.

Thank you Julie. I thought that angle did the most justice to the shadow.

Anne. thanks so much. sometimes it's what's right in front of our face that says it all!

Thanks so much Ralph.

Shirley, thank you. did you get the plaque on a visit there?
