Lunch With Liza Hirst in London

I just got back from a trip to London.  Our daughter works for Visa, a proud sponsor of the Olympics, so I went over to see her while she's there working for the Olympics and Paralympics.  I had a great time!

While there I got together for lunch with fellow blogger and artist Liza Hirst.  Liza and I have been blogosphere friends for several years and it was really wonderful to meet her in person!  Here we are after lunch having English tea!  If you're not familiar with her work go to her blog, you'll love what she paints.

Thank you everyone! Blogging is great for posting our work, but it is also such a wonderful way to "meet" others!

I love how the blogging world creates friends. How neat you got to meet with Liza and be in London during the Olympics. What a fun life.
