Cowboy Coffee

Cowboy Coffee
Oil 10" x 8"
$195.00 + $10. s/h

This is a plein air still life.  I set this old Cowboy Coffee Pot up outside on gravel in the sun.  I love the way so many colors are in the metal.  I let the gravel just be light values.

That coffee-pot is special! I already told you that I have one too, Pam, but I probably won't be painting it soon. The coffee was made on hot coals, I presume?

Thank you Debbi. I thought that it was fun, too!

Lorraine, Thanks so much. The background was light colored gravel and dirt!

Merci Cath. Bon week-end a toi, aussi.

Marie, thank you. I'm sure that the cowboys made their coffee on coals. For me this was just a prop.
