Lower Gold Camp Road

11" x 14" oil on stretched canvas
$245.00 + $10. s/h
SOLD

This view is about a 30 minute easy walk from our back gate through Bear Creek Park trails. Or, in my case, a 5 minute drive around the north side of the park to a pull off on the side of Lower Gold Camp Road. As sometimes happens, the oranges and reds in the photo are just a little stronger than in my painting.

Thanks for your visit and kind comments, Pam.
I have viewed your work many times, and love your colors and style. Your fall colors remind me of New England, very nice!!!

This is such an amazing painting. It puts me right there.
In the back of my mind I've been thinking of taking a plein air trip to paint in Colorado. Two years ago I painted at a place I think is called the Garden of the Gods which was outside of Colorado Springs.
Love the carefull attention you gave the subtle value shifts and deep sense of space.

Thanks everyone for all your kind comments. The colors this past month have been spectacular here, and I've loved doing the fall paintings. As with all things I found it so helpful to me to practice over and over, it really helped w/ the values and colors.
