I'm so jealous! I have one little coneflower plant struggling in my yard. I don't know if it's the heat, the drought, or the salt air, but it is having a hard time. It blooms little not-very-robust blooms.
Your flowers are great...the brushwork and color range is great! You've inspired me to paint my Cone Flowers....they are crazy in my garden, I just bought some orange and double bloom cone flowers.
Hi Pam! Beautiful paintings and I love the theme of your 100 paintings! That's a great idea! Thank you for commenting on my blog! It means a lot to have a "daily painter" check out my work!:)Have a great weekend! Jennifer:)

Love the colors you used in this one, Pam. Flowers are fun to paint, don't you agree, and coneflowers are everyone's favorite.
Pam, Love the orange and violet color combo! Beautiful work! Your fence must be a show stopper!
The color of the fence in the background provides a perfect setting for the coneflowers. Beautiful!
Nice color in the petals and I enjoy the neutral background which really sets them off!
Sherry, Thank you. and, since it's rained the night before, the fence was much darker than normal. It worked!
Thank you Carmen, Aren't flowers funny. I'd try moving it next spring. Maybe it needs new surroundings.
