Another Cloudy Sunrise

Another Cloudy Sunrise
5" x 7" oil on board
SOLD

I guess weather patterns stay the same for several days.  We had another cloudy sunrise.  I'm really enjoying the different sky colors from our typical bold, warmish sunrises.

This Thursday evening I'm participating in the 3rd Thursday Art Walk in Monument, Colorado, about 30 minutes north of here.  I'll be displaying my work in Bella Casa.  Hope those of you who live nearby can make it!

Especially love this sky painting as it is so saturated with color. And the complimentary colors in the sky are so pleasing. Lovely!! Doesn't feel typical at all but very special.

Thanks Elizabeth. I haven't done an art walk there, yet, but they're pretty well attended. So, should be fun.

Susan, Thank you. I love the out of doors,a and we have such great western skies! So, there's a painting in front of me all the time!

Thank you Kelley, I will bring these sunrises!

Debbi, Thank you. yes, usually the morning skies have so many yellows and oranges. But it's fun to see so many different ones each morning.

Linda, Thank you. I'm looking forward to the art walk.

Diana, Thank you. We could all do so many series!

Pam, your sunrises look so contemporary and abstract, more so, with each new one. I love this direction! Can hardly wait to see more!

The clouds make those little bands of color shimmer with light - I love your sky series, Pam. Sometimes we tend to ignore the beauty that is right in front of us - such as the sky. These are magnificent.

Thank you Karen, These are fun and freeing!

Gwen, Thank you. So appreciate your thoughts.

Thank you Nancy. It's funny how things can become a little abstract.

Dean, Thank you so much!

Thank you so much. Claire. That's one of the great things about daily painting. Because we are painting so often, I'm always looking for something to paint, and yes, it usually is right in front of me!
