These aspen shadows are also influenced by Edgar Payne's structures of composition: cross or cruciform.

Things look great over here Pam! When I first came over, I was so happy to see that you'll be visually explaining Payne's compositions for me! :) I need the reminder...and I never end up thinking them through enough.
