Pam, Love the rich colors of the christmas ornaments. Also you caught the reflections so well. All beautiful and shiny just like Christmas wishes for everyone should be:)

Kathy, Thank you! I am enjoying these. And the reflections are great practice!

Thank you Kim. There are so many values in each ornament.

Shirley, Thank you. This is just a matter of looking and sticking w/ what I see. There's the light I set up and a little bit of light from the window.

Thank you Julie!

Lovely...I like the primary colors of the balls surrounded by a pastel back ground. It makes it all very festive and sparkly!!

Kelley, Thank you. There are so many reflections in these ornaments. Not just the other ball, but bits of the wall, furniture, window; makes it a big color puzzle.

Thank you Nancy!

Mary, Thank you. I recently started using a bigger brush w/ my dailies, it's made a difference. I'm much looser.

Thank you Carol, I'm enjoying these. The reflections get you looking!

Theresa, Thanks. It is a fun challenge for me.

Pam,
You nailed them!

They are so alive. And I know because just fifteen minutes ago I put the 'kinda' finishing touches on our holiday decorations here in Sun City West AZ. They were gold and red balls. Your gold and green are beautiful.

Whatever you painters do to make them come alive is a mystery to me, but I love it. All I can do is attempt to capture the image with an expensive camera.

You create them from an inspiration. Good on you!
