Sevilla Light

Sevilla Light
9" x 12" oil on canvas on board
$195.00 + $10. s/h

This is from a trip my husband and I took several years ago to visit our daughter in Sevilla, Spain.  I paint a lot of landscapes with rocks, I live in the Rockies!  And off and on I paint buildings with incredible rock walls.  So, I wanted to continue painting rocks, and was drawn to this stone floor.  I loved how the warm oranges played against the purples.

I love this piece, Pam, the colors and composition are wonderful. Sevilla is a place I've been wanting to visit for a long time (along with Madrid).

Thank you Sherry! To be a favorite!

Carol, Thanks. I loved the light and color!

Thank you Christiane, I was mainly looking at the stones. The rest is just supporting actors.

Edward, Thank you. I hope you get to Sevilla. It is so beautiful!

Thank you so much Nancy, The architecture in Sevilla was so incredible. Very Islamic, ancient, breath taking.

Roxanne, Thank you. The space is just immense in these old buildings. I know I had to include my husband in the piece to just show the feel!

Thank you Jane. I tend to warm my shadows, especially w/ stone and rocks.

Amy and Karen, Thanks!!

Thank you Mary. I love the word golden. I'll have to remember that to use in a title.
