100 Garden & Floral Oil Paintings, Original Artwork by Pam Holnback, 73/100

A Second Coreopsis
6" x 6" Oil
SOLD

With this coreopsis, I used the purple complement for most of the dark and shadows, with touches of cad orange.  This darkens by graying a bit, and the effect is not as cool as the previous painting.

This one is so perfect, Pam. I like your discussions of the shadow sides of yellow... always agony!

But as beautiful as the last painting! Just lovely work, Pam!

The color palette in this is very attractive. It drew me right in. Very nice.

Kelley, Thank you. I often agonize over yellow. Cools, warms, grays???

Thank you so much Sherry.
