I just ran into Walmart.  When I was walking out the door I noticed the most wonderful smell.  Right on the front walkway, chiles from Hatch, New Mexico were being roasted.  They were selling them by the bushel.  Boxes and boxes of them were stacked up near the roaster.  I wish I'd had my camera or phone.  You gotta love living in the west!

Your hatch chili pepper is beautiful, Pam. I have it on the menu for tomorrow! Must have been a bumper crop this year in Hatch...they're everywhere.

Suzanne, Thank you. You're right. The Hatches are every where!

Thanks so much Sherry! And, for the title, too.

Rolina, Thank you. Grays are so great to mix. They can go just about any direction.

Pam, your colors are so rich and strong and I have never seen a vegetable look any sexier! I imagine the aroma of the roasting peppers was divine!
