Sit A Spell

Sit A Spell
11" x 14" Oil
$295.00 + $10. s/h

This rock is on our property in the mountains.  When our kids were little, we'd climb up on the top and "sit a spell."  We decided that if we were a mountain lion, this would be our look out!

What a beautiful outcropping, Pam, and you've painted it perfectly! I want to thank you for putting the Beverly Hillbillies theme song in my head though. LOL

Thank you Kathy. It's a great spot for a morning cup of coffee, an evening glass of wine, just about anything.

Carol, Thanks so much. Life is memories and they are so much fun to paint.

Thanks so much Con. We all have a little bit of Granny, or Ellie May in us!

Hilda, Thank you! The colors on the rocks are ever changing.

Beautiful painting Pam. You've chosen some colors that make this a very warm and inviting spot to 'Sit a Spell'. I loved reading how you came to paint this. Isn't that always the best way to paint .... something that means something to you or touches you in some way. Lovely.
