A Big Sunflower

A Big Sunflower

Some of the sun flowers in our back yard are big and start drooping when they get really tall.  I understand the feeling!  I feel like drooping from the heat we've had this summer.

Hi Pam
My favorite sunflower of all you've done! They are all lovely...there's just something about this one-composition, under painting, light-
Beautiful!

Love the addition of the little pops of the complementary purple. I'm with you on the heat. It has been more miserable than usual here this summer.

Thank you Nancy! It's been so great to just paint in the back yard!

Amy, Thanks so much.

Thank you Steven. I agree. This was my favorite!

Sherry. Thank you. Complements do wonders. Whether in painting or in just pain being nice!

Thank you Dayan. I think it often works so well to tone the canvas in a complementary color.
