Springtime on Pikes Peak

Springtime on Pikes Peak
6" x 8"  Oil
SOLD

I painted this view of Pikes Peak one spring day when my plein air group, Garden Artists, was painting at the Garden Of The Gods Visitor Center.  It sold today at the Little London Market.  I love it when I get to meet the owner of a painting.  This man used to live in Colorado Springs but has moved to Arizona.

I recently got a "Square".  I've tried swiping credit cards and can't get it to work.  I used it successfully today by typing in the credit card number.  Any one out there using a Square and have any advise?

I had the same problem with the Square when I had my one woman show. Luckily my girlfriend, who uses them all of the time helped me and she too ended up having to type everything in.
I was happy to be able to use it but bummed because I had scanned all my paintings in using a complementary ap that I downloaded and it was just wasted time.

Oh well.. nothing ventured....

I love the colours in your landscape, Pam! I notice that you have cattle paintings and will take a peak at those!

The question is like Greek to me...here in the outback of the world I have never heard of a "square"!

Love those rich greens in this piece, Pam. Congrats on the sale. I don't have a square but they sure look cool and seem like they would be a Godsend. Hope you get the kinks worked out.

Thanks Marian. I'll just keep typing, and wish I was swiping.

Hilda, Thank you!

Thank you Marie! A square is a little gadget that you stick in a smart phone and can swipe a card card for sales.

Sherry, Thank you. I'll post again about the kinks.

I can see why it sold, nice job. I like the reds you have in the forefront. HOpe you find the solution to your square issue.

I love this painting, Pam. I have been there so know how well you captured it.
Glad to hear about the square. I was thinking of getting it so will do more research before I do.

Thank you Amy. I'll keep searching for the "square" solution. In the meantime, typing works!

Julie, Thanks so much. It is a great place to visit! And, lucky me, I live right here!
