Flower Power

Flower Power
6" x 6"  Oil
$75.00 + $10. s/h

In this little piece the shadow has become almost as important as the flower.  I love the way my eye moves around the flower, around the shadow, around the vase shadow top, around the top of the vase, up the stem and then moves all over again!

So lovely! Did you do this painting in Santa Fe? If so, so sorry I missed it. It's gorgeous. Love the hints of pink showing through on the shadow as well.

Stunning red in this beauty, Pam. I am reminded of the candy lipsticks that we used to be able to get when I was a kid.

Debbi, Thank you. I love those little bits of pink, too!

Thank you Karen. It started as a painting of a flower, but the shadow became a major part!

Sherry, Thanks so much. I remember those lipsticks!

Thanks so much Amy!

The pieces you have produced in Carol's workshop are fantastic. Love everything about this one!
