We have a list of all the names of the different roses in our garden, I should use it for the painting titles. Some years the roses aren't as healthy as others. This is usually due to our high, dry climate. But, this summer the flowers everywhere in the Colorado are beautiful.

You did a great job - painting yellow roses is a huge challenge! I never remember the names of my roses, except for "Double Bang" for some inexplicable reason!

Thanks all, This rose seemed to have yellow/orange and yellow/green shadows, both warm and cool. Probably a combination of the warm sun, and the reflective light of the green bush next to it.
