"Three's A Crowd"
6" x 6" oil on board
$100.00 + $10.00 s/h
This is another seasonal produce piece for our show in September.

Last summer I took a workshop at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia.  They have now started a blog about their workshops, classes, shows, and studio events.  Each post is so filled with great information from the workshops and their teaching methods, it's like a little mini-lesson.  Check out their blog:  http://studioincamminati.blogspot.com/

Great little painting Pam - and title.

Familiar with Studio Incamminati and their Master approach. Was the workshop informative? One day?

I'm seeing a need for some angel food cake to go along with these delicious berries! Perfect colors, Pam!

Thank you Dana. I love late summer, early fall when there is so much fresh produce. Makes for healthy meals and great paintings.

Dusty, Thanks. Another great thing about daily painting. It gets me loose and quick.

Susan, Thank you. I've taken 2 summer workshops at S.I. over the last 3 years. Both were 1 week and I learned so much! Such a motivating place!

Thank you Nancy, It's always fun to find all the different darks in the shadows.

Sherry, Thank you. Glad I gave you dessert inspiration.

Hi Pam,
Love the painting! It reminds me of when mom use to make blueberry cobbler when we were kids (I'm Pam's sister). I am always impressed with the discipline of everyone who has made the daily painting commitment, and how the work evolves, kudos to all of you!
Thanks for mentioning the new Studio Incamminati blog (www.studioincamminati.blogspot.com). I am excited to be doing a blog about our studio, there is so much good information there, so many skillful painters and instructors, there is a lot to share. Last night Nelson Shanks did a demo as part of our Advanced Portrait Workshop, and there was a woman there, Patty, who attended my workshop last summer that you also attended (Color Study for Art Educators), and she asked about you and said how impressed she was with you!

Natalie, Thanks for the comment! I hope you get lots of followers and that everyone learns as much as I have.

Thank you Julie! What a great comment. The great thing about painting food is that if you're quick, you can eat it...or at least the rest that hasn't been sitting under lights!

Caroline, Thanks for the kind words. To get the "blueberry blue" I mixed cobalt blue w/ ultramarine blue, grayed that w/ cad red light and added white.
