Triangle L Garden Gate
6" x 8" Oil on panel
Sold
In early December my husband and I stayed at the Triangle L Guest Ranch and Bed and Breakfast in Oracle, Arizona. We'd never been to the Tucson area and spent several days exploring the desert surroundings. Being at the Triangle L is like stepping back in history. Many of the whitewashed adobe buildings were built in the 1890's. Guests stay in cottages near the main ranch house. The corral fence is built of stacked wood. The ranch had several garden areas, lots of gates, doorways, outbuildings, a windmill. It was great for getting me back to my garden series.

Cette peinture respire la bonne saison qu'est l'été. On pourrait presque sentir les parfums des fleurs qui se trouvent dans le jardin derrière le mur d'enceinte... J'aime toute cette lumière qui illumine votre toile.
Bisous
Gorgeous dappled sunlight and lovely southwestern buildings come together in quite a pretty painting. Well done, Pam.
Very nice Pam! I also love the dappled light in front. Looks like a beautiful place!
So inviting. Love this scene and your beautiful depiction of it. The dappled light on the ground, light on the walls and the arbor are all so nicely done.
Nice composition and I love the light coming through.
Martine, Merci beaucoup. J'aime le lumiere aussi.
Thank you Sherry, It was such an old Arizona ranch. I thought there should be movies filmed there.
Denise, Thank you. It was a fun place, although I kept thinking about maintenance!
Thank you Debbi, The light is what drew me to paint this spot.
Amy, Thanks. Sometimes we're lucky and just get the light how we want it!
Hey Pam, I so enjoyed getting caught up with all you posts. I love the warmth radiating from this painting.
Wish I could see the show highlighting your painting "Circle of Friends."
Happy Painting!
Oracle's a nice little area, isn't it? It's hard to believe that there's a huge, sprawling city right around the corner, so to speak.
Oh yes, this has a definite Tucson feel to it!
Beautiful dappled sunlight. Very charming painting.
Very nice handling of the light. You really captured the charm.
Susan, Thanks! I, too wish that I could see the show. Just too far for me. But, there's lots of publicity, a book, skyping. Should be great!
Thank you Sonya. I'd never been to that area. And Oracle was a interesting historical little town!
Julie, You're right! Each area has it's own feel!
Thank you Carol. I love it when I'm out and the sun creates such a great spot to paint!
Dori, Thanks. The ranch was so charming. So many great spots to paint!
Your blog is wonderful! Such lovely paintings!
Thanks so much Kimberly!
