Sunset Over Buffalo Peak
6" x 8" Oil on panel
SOLD
I recently hung some paintings at Dream Pastries in downtown Castle Rock, Colorado which is just north of Colorado Springs. Dream Pastries is a bakery, coffee shop, breakfast and lunch restaurant, and wedding cake venue which hangs art work on its walls. No sooner had I hung the work than this piece sold. You never know where the next collector might be. For those of you who live in the area, stop by for a pastry, they're delicious. And, if you become a FB friend you get a free pastry or coffee!

Pam, I am not surprised this sold; it is beautiful. It captures all of the beauty I think of when I imagine Colorado (I've only been at the airport in Denver once on a small layover...).
A sweet treat for the buyer with none of the guilt! The clouds remind me of Maynard Dixon's work. Just right!
Congratulations!!! It is a beautiful painting and all your paintings will find their perfect home!
I love how you painted the sky and the feeling of distance on the mountains.

Congrats Pam. Love the way you approached the clouds.
A beautiful sky confection. I can see why one of the pastry shop patrons would be especially attracted.
I always love you skyscapes.
Nice movement in the clouds.
Thank you so much Marian!
Amy, thank you. Clouds always feel a bit abstract to me, so they are fun to paint!
