I think this is a new favorite of mine from your Alaska series, Pam. I love the photos and the old green and blue boat immediately captured my eyes and heart. Looks like it did for you too as I saw a closer up view as I scrolled down. The eagles are amazing to see up close and personal like this and I admit to being awed that a bear was so close to you!

I enjoyed sharing the Alaska trip with you and am sad to see that this is the last of your paintings from the trip. The photos are great! Bears, from a distance (my rule) -- but what a great shot!

I've loved seeing your adventure. I'm still so impressed that you were able to paint while away ... and I love the scenes you chose to paint. Easily recognized as Alaska. Thanks for sharing your trip with the rest of us.

Sherry, thank you. It was all amazing! Incredible wildlife, scenery, boats. I zoomed in to the eagles and bear!

Thank you Julie. Thanks for joining me!

Katherine. Thank you so much! I especially enjoyed your comments as your long boating trip last year went right where we were!

Thanks so much Nancy. Some trips allow time to paint, others are filled with site seeing, visiting people, etc. Because of the relaxed atmosphere and down time on the boat, this trip was ideal for painting!

Pam, your work is just lovely! I have enjoyed looking at your lush paintings and the beautiful photographs. Wow! Talk about inspiring scenery. You handle foliage and water wonderfully! I can almost feel the serenity and quiet and smell the water and forest. Thank you!

Mary, Thanks so much. So much material is right! I took so many photos, I'll never paint them all!

Thank you Carol. The blues and greens and grays were amazing. So many values!
