HOLIDAY SALE All paintings sold in December are 20% off my regular prices
As I've mentioned in the past, I often Google topics to find a title for one of my pieces, or for information when writing a post. Today I googled "cow poems". I had "A Child's Garden Of Verses" by Robert Louis Stevenson when I was a child, so when I saw this poem I thought it fit!

24. The Cow |
THE FRIENDLY cow all red and white
I love with all my heart:
She gives me cream with all her might,
To eat with apple-tart.
She wanders lowing here and there, | 5 |
And yet she cannot stray,
All in the pleasant open air,
The pleasant light of day;
And blown by all the winds that pass
And wet with all the showers, | 10 |
She walks among the meadow grass
And eats the meadow flowers. |
