This view of Bear Creek Park was done almost by just turning around where I was in the last post.  I was standing on the side of a path with fields of sunflowers on both sides.  It's just been a spectacular wildflower summer!  No complaints here!

Here's a picture from the park:

As I said in the last post, if you squint the meadow is just yellow!

Bonjour chère amie,

J'aime toutes ces couleurs acidulées semblables à des bonbons... Une peinture pleine de fraîcheur.

Gros bisous ♡

Hi Pam,I like this painting, but I like your previous one{Yellow Orchestra} more. I know you don't mind me saying that. I attempted to paint a landscape of my backyard...all that foliage is tricky. I'm definitely not use to it. I can hardly believe you live within walking distance to such spectacular beauty. Makes me wish I lived in wide open Colorado.
I got your email a little while ago and I emailed you back [regular email method, not blog email} I looked up Kathy Anderson...wow, does she ever paint beautiful flowers and gardens. There is another painter who died recently {so sad] and I think you would really appreciate her paintings as well. Her name is Frances Galante

Merci Martine!!

Pattie, Thank you so much! So interesting when you start thinking about which piece you like. Another friend said that this, the 3rd, was her favorite. Haven't heard of that artist, but, I'm going to find out!! You should put a trip to Colorado to paint w/ me on your list~!!

Thank you Hilda. I. too, like the softness.
