The Creamer

The Creamer
6" x 6" Oil
$100.00 + $10. s/h

I think that this is such a sweet set.  It belonged to one of my grandmothers.  But, at this point I don't even know which one, and there's no one left to ask.  I enjoyed painting these two small pieces so much that now I'm working on a bigger version.

A gorgeous set and I so hope the big one puts the two pieces together! Do you have the teapot and cups/saucers too?

Great idea. Lovely painting. As for these two - maybe a frame that holds them both?

These would look lovely hung side by side. Love the way you handled the reflections. :-)

I love the luminous color in both of these paintings...they are so pretty. They should be hung together...I agree.

Pam, I inherited the 'dish obsession' gene from my grandmother and my mother, so I am especially attracted to this series you have been working on. I really like the way you paint both the light that surrounds the dish, and the light that reflects off the dish - it's just beautiful.

Love the colour combination in these two pieces, and of course the reflections too!

This cream and sugar set is so beautifully painted! You've captured that fragile, pearly look of the glass so well!

Sherry, Thank you. I do not have the rest of the set and don't know what could have happened to it.

Thank you Kelley, Interesting thought about one frame.

Artc, Thank you. Hope that they do get hung together.

I love little treasures like this.

Both paintings are wonderful... my favorite part is the reflection.

Thank you so much Debbi!

Marian, Thank you. This was like a treasure when I opened a rarely used cabinet and remembered these. Because they're white on wood they have such strong reflections.

I can feel the light coming in from the left, lovely.

Great reflections, and dark rich shadows. Simplicity!

The creamer and sugar bowl are such sweet little paintings. Someone does need to own them both, very nice.
