Relaxing and Tranquil

Relaxing and Tranquil
8" x 10" Oil on board
SOLD

This relaxing river spot is just outside of Vail, Colorado.  It was a bright, beautiful, perfect day.  My husbands' two sisters were visiting from out-of-state.  We couldn't have asked for more.

Simply perfection, Pam. You've done a masterful job on the water and reflective surfaces too.

Sherry, Thank you!

Thank you Denise. So glad you like it.

Carol, thanks. This is my husbands' favorite. Not sure which is mine

Thank you Dana, I changed the reflection a little because of removing some of the dead tree branches. A necessary artistic license.

Cathyann, Thank you. I have really enjoyed the cropping and trying to show just a small part.

Thank you Jan!

Claire, Thank you. Thinking of titles is an art in itself.

Pam - excellent job on this series! They have a real impressionistic feel! You're so lucky to have such inspirational scenes to paint. Can't wait to get back outside to paint. In the meantime, going back to Studio Incamminati in week for a still-life workshop, can't wait!

Lovely, Pam. Your plein air looks so effortless, while I just seem to keep struggling. Wonder colors and reflections.

Mary, Thank yo so much. So glad that you like the water. I wanted your eyes to move around the water and keep going back to it.

Thank you Debbi, You live right on the water so, you see it everyday!

David, Thank yo so much!

Thank you Carol ann, I think that when it's cold it's great to paint the warmth!

Lori, Thank you. I know you'll love your workshop at SI.!

Thank you Ann, This one was not plein air. I used a photo reference from a trip.
