This is another plein air piece painted at the Great Sand Dunes National Park. I love how the logs, sand, shadows and light create an abstract feel.
I guess that kids of all ages enjoy "the beach" no matter where it is!

So lovely! I find myself thinking of how I wouldn't want the ride home with all that sand in my clothes! LOL
Thank you Sherry. There was a big bus load of kids on a field trip. Must have been so much sand in that bus!
