This old warehouse is in downtown Colorado Springs near the building in my last post. There's a great area with old buildings, warehouses, the old depot, train tracks, etc. that is a never ending supply of paintings.  Every time I'm there there's something new to paint.

Just wondering...do you look at old buildings?

This old warehouse is in downtown Colorado Springs behind (or, on the other side of the tracks) from the Old Depot.  My plein air groups often head downtown to paint and /or photo the old buildings.  Like many downtowns, the Springs has some cool, old buildings.  It also has some uncool buildings from the 50s-70s, some empty lots that need to be taken care of, and some great new architecture.

Does your town have an old downtown?  Have you walked around there lately and looked at the buildings?
