This is another tea rose from our garden. It's hanging at Fairie Tales Restaurant. I realized that I'd forgotten to photograph it. I think we all have our perfect spots for taking pictures of our paintings, places where we know the light is just right. I wasn't familiar with all the spots at the restaurant and think that this is a little bright. I'll reshoot it next time I'm over there.

I have yet to paint the candy cane roses or the liliums.

We only have these two lonely flowers in our front yard.
Now we only have one flower in our front yard!

Love the shots with the deer! And those candy cane roses - don't they smell wonderful??? You did a good job photographing that painting - taking a picture of a hanging painting is a nightmare!

Lorraine. thank you! I love painting flowers..I bring out colors that aren't on my normal palette. For this one I used a mixture of Permanent Rose, Magenta and Cad Red Light.
This tea rose is gorgeous! Think the photo is fine. We have deer too. They are great except when our flowers become their dinner all the time. I want hydrangeas and there is no way!:)
Your rose is gorgeous, Pam. The deer are beautiful, but they do a lot of damage to flower and veggie gardens!

that is so cool..the deer of course...not the flower loss...I had to replace to pots full from hail damage...
