Pam, I waw the photo on Gary's blog and you did a marvelous job!! The soft colors in the background nicely contrast the rough and tough buffalo. And great value contrast like Kelley said.
I also think this painting has great impact. Its your use of colour in the animal's coat that I find wonderful.

Gosh, you did such a great job on this! Love that dark blue with the reds and yellows. The rough style fits the subject perfectly.
Great use of color and I like how you've handled the edges! I also like the under toning showing through!
